Viper is the commanding officer at Topgun. He is referenced by many of the staff members as being the best of the best ever. His job was to get the students combat ready by teaching them manuervers and making them do exercises. He flew in the Vietnam war and flew with Mavericks father during the war. Viper is a man of steel who will help you when you need it. He flies the f-4 during all the exercises.
