F-4 Phantom II
The F-4 phantom was introduced into the United States military in December 30,1960. The plane was used in the Navy and by the Marines for many missions in vietnam. It was also a two seater with a twin engine and its top speed was over mach 2.2. It set 15 world records while in its service time. It was a bomber that had the capabilities and the speed of an intercepter. The only problem with the F-4 phantom was it was designed without a internal cannon but the later models were. It finally was retired in 1996 by the United States but it is still used by other countries in the world.
