F-14 Tomcat

 

The F-14 Tomcat was in service with the United States military and was in used by the navy for September 22, 1974 till September 22, 2006. It is a twin engine and a two seater which allows for a pilot and a co-pilot to fly together. It's top speed was at a 1,544 mph speed it went about mach 2. The F-14 tomcat is a very versitile aircraft with numerous capabilities in combat. The F-14 tomcat wings had two different positions. The first position is where the wings would fold in and that was so that the F-14 could manuerver easier and then the second position is out so that the F-14 could fire its weapons at enemys while they are engaged.
